Deron Higgins has been active in Hume Lake ministry for several years as both staff and guest speaker. He has been involved with Youth for Christ and teaches at both APU Haggard School of Theology as well as San Diego Christian College. His passion is to see those far from God enter in to the life changing relationship He offers through the gift of His son Jesus. He is the Lead Pastor of a church plant called the gaThering@rsd in San Diego. He and his wife Netters (they met at Hume) have two great kids Jessi and Duncan. They love hanging out at the beach, down in Baja, and up in the mountains.

Scott Riggan has had his hands full this past year, with a couple of hit songs on Christian radio (especially the #1 hit "I Love You Lord"), a full touring schedule and--perhaps most significantly--his history-making tour of China as a guest of the Chinese government. Each year, Scott performs over 100 concerts and frequently leads worship in a variety of settings. He has opened recently for SonicFlood, Phillips Craig & Dean, Michelle Tumes and The Katinas. Scott also serves as a spokesman for The JESUS Film Project (a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) and hosts the daily radio feature "The JESUS Film World Report", which is heard on over 300 radio stations nationwide.
