I had a great time a Hume Lake This week. It was SOOOOO much fun. If anyone says other camps are better then this they are wrong.

It's amazing how much the holy spirit can touch you on the inside!! Hume is a great environment to be in, and with your close good friends you know from church, the experience here is unbelieveable! For me crying was what I did a lot the week I went to Ponderosa, God knew what I needed, only He would know. Hume is awesome, I love it, it's totally a place I look forward to coming to. I thank the staff and the speakers and the youth pastors that come and speak to us, oh and the bands, you all are wonderful and inspiring!

Hume lake is a very great place. i love being there. the messages and the sermonsare just so powerful and moveing .the words i hear there are soo true and i love hume lke thatnk you you made me come closer to god .

I went to Hume for my first time this summer as a counselor, so I never had the camper experience.. Honestly, I was really skeptical about going up there. I had heard about how great Hume was, but was worried that kids would only go for fun and not take to heart the Word of God. By the end of the week, God had revealed himself soo greatly that I was overwhelmingly amazed by how many kids' lives had been changed up there. I was tremendously touched by the 'Abba Father' song that 3:30 Plan played and am very thankful for how God spoke to several of the girls I talked with. I totally saw how healing comes through brokeness. God is soo Great! Keep up the good work Hume staff! Love you all. <><

Dudes. Hume Lake is totally amazing. Its been one long year since I've been a christian. And one thing i definitally love about Hume is that it's like God's playground. He does so much amazing stuff there. Thanx alot guys.

i just returned from hume lake for my second time and god just changed my life around... before i went up there i was having trouble with one of my closest freinds from school and i just prayed a whole bunch when i was up there and her and i worked things out... hume lake is a life changing experience and i dont see how someone can go home with a frown! hume is filled with fun and jesus...

I just got back today from Highschool Summer Camp 2005. The theme, We Like Sheep was amazing and the speaker, Darin McWatters could really bring the word. I was amazed at the lives that where turned around at this camp. God really works at Hume and I love it there. I actually became a Christian there. I love the staff and I had the best lead counselor ever ( I love you Courtney!!). And I had so many amazing talks with my friends in my cabin and sitting outside gazing at God's wonderful creation of stars. I pray that God will bless Hume Lake forever!

this is going to be my third year and camp were going in two weeks !
and i think it is the best camp e ver cause u can spend time with God and with godly friends and its beatuful thier! well of course it is cause God made it !!!

I just got back from a wonderful week at Hume Lake 7/31-8/6 2005 (Ponderosa Camp). Todd Arnett was such an awesome speaker and the band 330 Plan was totaly cool. It was the first time that Ihad heard either of them and I was blown away at how personal and friendly they were. It was wonderful how they brought the message of Jesus through worship and Todd's messages to others at the camp. It was my second year at Hume and I hope to come back next year. Hume Lake is an excellent place to come and focus on life and your relationship with God as well as others. It was a wonderful two years and I hope to be able to eperience it for a third time next year. I was touched personally by everything and everyone I came in contact with here and may God bless those who make this camp possible. Spread the Good News.

I just really wanted to let you all know how much God has truly worked in my life both spiritualy and physicaly. His love is so amazing and it is most defenately enough for me. When 330 plan sang the song ABBA FATHER that really hit me. My earthly father walked out of my life when i was 4 months old. I just realized that the Dad i have been always asking for and searching has always been here, loving me. I am sure that someone else has felt the same way and i encourage you to give your burdens to God. He is almighty and with Him all is possible. He cares so much and He demonstrates it in everyway. I met amazing people @ Hume, people like Todd (the speaker), Rich Baker and Chris Walters who really opened up the word of our father. I am so grateful anfd forever thankful and like Chris walters said it's not about us or the people who sorround us - it is simply about Christ and the pain he bore on the cross for us, for me. Thankyou Hume staff - thank you Daddy ;)

i had a wonderful time at hume lake and i learned so much. all of the staff were so nice and were so helpful. god really came through to me and helped me give my heart to christ. once i got back down the mountain, i felt like i was knocked back into the world and knew what i had to do. i thank the staff and everyine from hume lake.

This years Hume Lake was so cool. I just loved the theme, "We Like Sheep." I also just loved the opener. That was the best. It was just so cool makeing new friends. And also getting to know the leaders like Allyson, Erin, Joe, and Emily. The are so cool. Heart for Allyson.

Wow.... I had such an experience here at hume lake. I just recently got back from it and i cant wait till next year. I had an amazing experience there and with God. I learned soo much more than I already knew. I have been thanking my parentz over and over for sending me and I am so fortunate to be able to go. I felt that God really touched me this past week and I have come home with more experiences than I have other camps. The speaker, Russel was just amazing and the band was great.
But think the best thing there was the theme, we like sheep. I loved the video and just the whole story of how the theme has to do with God.. our shepard. "What do You think...if a man has 100 sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the other 99 on the mountain to go in search of the one that went astray?
And if he finds it, truley, i say to you he rejoices over it more than the 99 that never went astray" (Matthew 18:12-13)
I learned that at HUME! Yes!!!!!! I memorized it word for word!
Anyways I had such an amazing experience. Especially with the lake right there for everyone to see...and that proves that God is real...and he can do everything...seeing his creation everyday and being able to talk to him out in the place that he made so beautiful. Seeing his wonders and beautiful creations is one of the finest things in life. Find out for yourself!!!

I just got back from Wildwood a week ago and I am already longing to go back.That week at hume showed me how much people around the world need God and that we can take him to them. I have been streched(especially through the persecution night) and am looking forward to going back next year.Thanks to all the staff for an awsome week- especially Natalie and Ace. And I'll always remember the farting bears, Seth and Squirrel Man.

With God anything is possible. I was a very quiet person, got bullied in jr high. My parents were divorced and felt lonely. Until someone from a church invited me to bible study. I was nervouse because I didn't know anyone, and on the way to church I found out that my father was in the hospital. My mother told me to go and pray for him and we would go after church. As I listening to the youth pastor about Christ and prayed. I suddenly realized that my life without Christ is nothing. As I went in to see my dad the doctor said he will live and be fine. Having the confidence in Christ is amazing to know that your not lonely because He's there and listening. With Christ your not blind to evil anymore, you can see perfectly clear of the love that Christ will always have for you.

I have been to the Ponderosa Camp at Hume Lake for 2 years now, and i dont have enough words to explain the feelings i have towards that place. It's AMAZING! God is working throughout so many people up there and that is such a blessing. My best friend accepted christ this week and i thank the staff and our speaker Francis Chan soo much! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will continue to go to that camp for as many years as i can. Thank you again and again. wow i cried, sang, laughed and learned so much! God Bless!!

Every year I have been at Meadow Ranch, as a student, and now a leader it has been an inspiration to me. I have seen many lives changed up there, and know the power of the Lord is strong at Hume. See you this summer!

this last week i went to hume for the 2nd time with my school(heritage jr. high). i had the best time of my life and met a ton of awesome new people. i re dedicated my life to God and had a blast in all the classes. it truely changed my life!! thank u hume lake staff, i love u!!!!!!!!

Going to Hume Lake has changed my life! I really experienced God more than I have in a long time. The worship really hit me and Chris as a speaker was truely a blessing. My friend Jenny attended camp the weekend after I did and totally loved it too. It really awesome being able to tell our friends what a great time we had at HUME. The activities and all the fun stuff like ice skating, broom hockey, hanging out in the snack shop really topped off the weekend. I just want to say thank you Hume Lake and to any high schoolers out there, you need to experience Hume Lake. It will change your life, you will go home a different person.

I just recently returned from Winter Hume, and I absolutely loved it! It was my first time attending Hume and God showed me so many wonderful things! From the friendly staff, through which God shines so brightly through, to the fun and exciting activities offered, I had one of the best times of my life! Todd Arnett is a wonderful speaker. God really used Him and spoke through Him. His messages really touched me. Chapel had to be one of my favorite things about my Hume experience. I had such an awesome time worshipping to the sounds of Down and Away. They are such awesome guys and truly love the Lord. I have discovered my new favorite sport...ice broom hockey! Next year, total domination! And yes...we will beat the staff! Thank you to everyone who made this awesome, wonderful, spiritual experience possible for me and all others who attended and will attend Hume. I look foward to many more great times at Hume! I thank God that we have such great friends that have stuck by us, and asked us to come to the Firefighters retreat. This was one great weekend for my wife and myself. I have been to Hume Lake twice and it is my favorite place in the world. It is completely gorgeous up at hume and everything about it is just incredible. I really want to go back this summer and i hope i get the chance to! Hume Lake gave me such a great perspective on everything and hume lake is so much more than just an outdoor camp its a completely different world and an awesome place.

Hume Lake was one of the most wonderful experiances in my life. Most of my family is not Christian so it has been hard getting support from them but Hume showed me that it was about getting support from our lord and creator God and his holy and pure son who died for us on the cross. It showed me that our life is not about us and what we want but it is rather about glorifying God. When we follow God our lives get so much better. I am pumped every day now to be an alien here on this earth and I am excited to share the wonderful relationship that I have with God with others. I support what Hume does and I would encourage anyone who wants to grow in their faith to experiance Hume. I love what you guys do and I thank you from the deepest spot in my heart.
